Red Egg is creating a center for art that deepens our connection with wisdom traditions in local communities around the world.

In this fast-paced world, we can often feel disconnected — both from others and from ourselves.

But art can connect us. It can reveal our own wisdom.

And when we see the world through art from different communities and traditions, it opens our hearts, connects us with one another, and teaches us what good work we can do together.

About us

Debi Lorenc is an artist who practices neo-Coptic iconography; a photographer; and a partner and manager of design projects at Black & White Design in Silicon Valley.

Chris Lorenc is a writer and teacher focused on wilderness as a spiritual practice and on the essential unity of environmental and human rights.

Together, they have completed a nine-month journey around the world, meeting artists from different spiritual traditions in their communities.

At home, they divide their time between San José, California, and Big Sur.
